IF YOU LIVE IN THE AVALON NEIGHBOURHOOD SOUTH OF RUTH STREET, WEST OF CLARENCE AVENUE, EAST OF LORNE AVENUE AND NORTH OF THE CN RAILROAD TRACKS - THIS NOTICE IS IMPORTANT TO YOU.

On April 16, 2015, Avalon residents participated in discussions and identified ideas and solutions to address traffic concerns in their neighbourhood. Based on feedback and information received during this meeting, other sources, traffic counts and existing traffic studies, the Transportation Division has prepared a draft neighbourhood-wide traffic plan.

A second meeting on October 29, 2015 provided Avalon residents, business owners, property owners, local groups and other stakeholders an opportunity to comment on specific traffic adjustments being proposed for this neighbourhood.

A third meeting on January 14, 2016 will be held to discuss the outstanding issues:

-Revised traffic calming plan for Glasgow Street west of Clarence Avenue

-Geometric modifications at Clarence Avenue & Glasgow Street
