The City is looking at ways to improve pedestrian safety and traffic flow along 33rd Street West, between Idylwyld Drive and Confederation Drive.
A survey was mailed to all residents living along this portion of 33rd Street West, asking for comments. We know these possible changes to your neighbourhood are important to you. If you did not participate in the survey you can still give us your feedback.
Two public Neighbourhood Traffic Management meetings are scheduled in April:
Caswell Hill: April 1, 2014 at Caswell Community School, 7:00-9:00 pm
Hudson Bay Park: April 30, 2014 at Ecole Henry Kelsey School, 7:00-9:00 pm
Everyone is welcome!
The meetings include a presentation about neighbourhood-wide traffic concerns followed by group discussion to involve you in finding solutions. We will include specific information about proposed changes to 33rd Street West. You will have an opportunity to discuss these changes and provide feedback.
All feedback will be included in the neighbourhood-wide traffic plan and specific feedback about 33rd Street West will also be included in a separate report for this project. There will be a second public meeting in fall 2014 to present the plans and gather further feedback, before any changes are made.
Neighbourhood Traffic Management reviews are a new process adopted by Council in 2013 as a way to involve the community in solutions to address traffic concerns throughout your neighbourhood.
If you cannot attend one of the meetings, there will be a chance add your comments to this webpage from April 1 to June 1.
You can also comment on related discussions on this website:
